Hashirama Senju a Character from Naruto Universe, He was First Hokage of Hidden Village of Leaf. Hashirama and Madara were childhood friends, they share a common dream of peace which they eventually Achivied by Establishing Hidden Village of Leaf and Leading Their respective clan as well as other clan toward peace, but that peace also doesn't able to sustain in long term.
After Establishing the village, Hashirama became the First Hokage of Shinobi Village which eventually created a turning point for future story, Hashirama was an wise and decent Hokage, but everything can't be perfect in life. In his life Hashirama also made some Worst Decisions which triggered the future plot.

Ruling the Village Alone without Madara
After Establishing Village with Madara, Hashirama Senju became Hokage even though he wasn't responsible for the creation alone. The Idea and goal of creating the village has only one motive to save the future generations kids from War, but ended up ruling alone. Even though Hashirama wanted Madara to guide the village, but can't able to proceed because of external problem and Uchiha Clan over powerness.
Failed to Satisfied Uchiha clan
After Madara Leaving Village the Uchiha Clan lost their faith in Village because they only respected Madara because he was a pipeline between Clan and Village. Later the Village mistreated the Uchiha's because of their Sharingan. Thus Hashirama laid the groundwork the destruction of the Uchiha Clan.
Enslaving and Weaponizing The Tailed Beasts
After Defeating Madara, Senju Hashirama captured and weaponized the Tailed Beast because of their overwhelming power level. In the following time the Tailed Beast was treated as weapon of showcasing power balance between 5 Great villages which was bought Forward by Hashirama to equally distribute power, Because of this Tailed Beast started hated the Humans.
Making Tobirama next Hokage Of The Village
Tobirama Senju, the person who always disdain Uchiha's, He doesn't believe in Uchiha as one of Villager because of his past experience. Even though he was trying his best to eradicate the hatred. Despite this fact he was elected as Hokage. As results Uchiha's were alienated more, which make a base for Hatred of Uchiha's and Senju's.
Starting Problematic Jinchuriki System
Hagoromo The first Jinchuriki after him no jinchuriki was created still Hashirama era. After conclusions of war between Madara, Mito Uzumaki became Jinchuriki after Hagoromo. Hashirama didn't stop the Jinchuriki System even after knowing the After effect of Jinchuriki system which negatively impacted lives of Jinchuriki and treated them as a mere weapon. As a result the cursed move from Kushina To ending up with Naruto.
